USA Pavilion 2015: USA Pavilion Announces the James Beard American Restaurant at Seven Stars Galleria in Milan
The USA Pavilion is proud to announce the James Beard American Restaurant at Seven Stars Galleria. Situated in the heart of central Milan atop the historic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the James Beard American Restaurant will provide a showcase for a rotating cast of American chefs, ingredients, beverages and other American gastronomic delights.
Operating much in the same manner as the James Beard House in New York City, the restaurant will be a centerpiece of culinary programming and gastronomic activity during the USA Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015, where American chefs will offer a five-course prix-fixe dinner showcasing their unique styles while celebrating regional American foods and cuisines. The James Beard American Restaurant will also host great Italian chefs interpreting American cuisine. On Sundays, the restaurant will feature brunch throughout the day, curated by Chef Evan Hanczor of the celebrated Egg in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with jazz, gospel and other classical American entertainment. The restaurant will also host special tastings, receptions, demonstrations and various cultural events.
An amazing group of chefs will be cooking at the James Beard American Restaurant at the Seven Stars Galleria. All chefs are recognized by the James Beard Foundation and/or the International Culinary Center, and all are members of the American Chef Corps. The list of guest chefs is still in formation so stay tuned to [LINK TO SCHEDULE PAGE] for updates. Reservations will be able to be made online in mid-April. In the meantime, if you wish to request reservations for specific dates, send an email with your complete reservation and contact information (including daytime phone number) to firstname.lastname@example.org and someone will respond to confirm and take credit card details.
